Berkeley City College’s biotechnology program received a $1.08 million grant for its “Bridges to Stem Cell Program” to prepare students for academic and professional careers in medicine and environmental sciences. It currently offers three degrees and certificates.
We created a new website for the program to develop communication between the school and students. My responsibilities included creating the new logo based on the existing Berkeley City College logo, organizing their past seminar information, and taking new pictures for the website. For easier maintenance, the website uses WordPress and the Salient theme. To fulfill the requirements for public school websites, the website is responsive and accessible (Section 508 and WCAG 2.0).
